Xinhua News Agency, May 12, Russian legal Information official Portal published a presidential decree on education reform signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The presidential decree stipulates that pilot projects to create basic and professional higher education structures will be carried out in relevant Russian universities to replace undergraduate and master's education. Basic higher education lasts for 4 to 6 years and professional higher education lasts for 1 to 3 years.
