In view of the heavy rainfall process in South China, the National General Administration of Flood Control started the level 4 emergency response.

According to the forecast of the meteorological department, there will be heavy to heavy rainstorms and local torrential rains in some parts of central and southern South China from May 11 to 13. Some of the above-mentioned areas are accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation, local thunderstorms and strong winds. In addition, affected by the Bay of Bengal storm "Mucha", there will be torrential rain or torrential rain in southeastern Tibet and parts of Yunnan. According to the current flood control situation and the relevant provisions of the National Emergency Plan for Flood Control and drought Relief, the State General Administration of Flood Control launched level 4 emergency response at 18:00 on May 11, and sent two working groups to Hainan, Guangdong and Guangxi to guide heavy rainfall prevention and response.
