Maoji Hisamatsu, a former special agent of ADK Advertising Company, was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison, suspended for 3 years. Tada Junming, the former head of the company, was sentenced to one year in prison, suspended for three years. Together with the former president of the company, the two paid bribes of about 14 million yen to Takahashi, a former director of the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee. In the first public trial held in March this year, both men admitted the content of the prosecution.
