He said in a post on social media that this three-day visit will witness the establishment of a specific cooperation mechanism between Chongqing and Hong Kong. The newly established "Chongqing-Hong Kong Cooperation Conference Mechanism" will be the first new cooperation mechanism established by the current SAR Government with mainland provinces and cities, and the third mechanism established by the SAR Government and mainland municipalities directly under the Central Government after Beijing and Shanghai. Tonight, Li Jiachao will have a dinner with representatives of Hong Kong enterprises in Yugang to learn more about the cooperation between the two places. He hoped that Hong Kong and Chongqing would comprehensively deepen cooperation under the principle of complementary advantages and mutual benefit, so as to bring the development of the two places to a higher level.
