Weber telescope found that extrasolar stars have three dust rings

(FAP, May 9)-astronomers used the James Weber Space Telescope to observe the dust around the extrasolar star "Northfall Gate." it was found that there were three dust rings around the star, two of which were discovered for the first time. The three dust rings circle Northfall Gate in a concentric circle, extending 23 billion kilometers from the star, equivalent to 23 billion times the distance from the earth to the sun, according to a report on the NASA website on the 8th. Compared with the asteroid belt and Kuiper belt in the solar system, the structure of these three dust rings is more complex, the relevant research report was published in the same day's British magazine Natural Astronomy.
