FAP, May 9 (FAP)-at Berkshire Hathaway's annual shareholders' meeting held in Omaha on Saturday, a proposal by a conservative group calling for Buffett to be removed as chairman of the company was overwhelmingly rejected. In its proposal, the National Center for Law and Policy asked Buffett to be held by different people, saying his relationship with Bill Gates and his political views could hurt investors. Berkshire has said that as long as Buffett remains chief executive, he will continue to serve as chairman. But once he leaves office, the chairman will be replaced by a non-management board member.
